In chess, I try to mold the board as I see fit. I struggle to adapt to the ever-changing board. I will the game by playing moves I’ve seen before in previous grandmaster games. But this does not work: my play suffers. This is well-welcomed insight - I see my game in a new light and how to grow. Responsibility beckons. I am ready to take the leap.
